Welcome Back
Welcome back to our Fitzroy Family of Room Two for our last term of the year. We were lucky to have Ashton and Kaylee start on their school journey today. We had a busy day and all of the class enjoyed sharing their holiday adventures. We are off to Puke Ariki on Thursday the 21st October at 9:15 to a session called 'Make it Work'. Watch this space for a report on our outing. We have a busy term ahead and time will fly. Dont forget to check our Blog and hopefully we will manage to get some photos and examples of work to allow you all to celebrate and share in our successes.

Cross Country Training
We are right into our cross country training and are learning to warm up properly to prepare to run for long periods. Do you know some of us are able to do as many laps of the course as the seniors. We are looking forward to the big day on Thursday to show how fit we are.

Fire Station Visit
We had a busy day on Thursday. In the afternoon we went on a big bus to the Firestation. The Fire Fighters showed us through the fire engines and the pole in the fire station. We all had a turn using the hose to hit a bucket off a big cone. You will be able to enjoy the pictures soon! We also watched a fire fighter go very high on the crane on top of the fire engine. They were impressed with our knowledge of fire safety. We were very tired at 3pm after our two trips in one day.
Girls High Visit
We went to Girls High last Thursday and worked in the Computer Lab. We worked on the computers and created pictures using Art Rage. We can be proud of ourselves and the pictures we created.
